How to Delete a To-do

Please note: Deleting a To-do is permanent. If you wish to keep the To-do for future use, you can mark it as completed and later reactivate it.

On iPhone & iPad

To delete a To-do on your iOS device, swipe from right-to-left on the task you wish to delete and tap on the red trash can button.



To delete multiple tasks, first tap on "Edit" in the upper-right hand corner. Then select all of the tasks you wish to delete and select the "Delete" icon in the Action bar at the bottom of the screen.

On Android

To delete a to-do swipe from right-to-left on the task you wish to delete. You'll then receive a prompt confirming the deletion.



To bulk delete items, long-press on a To-do to bring up the "Edit" mode. Then select all of the tasks you wish to delete and select the trash can icon in the upper-right hand corner of the screen.

On Mac

To delete your To-dos on Mac, highlight the tasks you wish to delete, type Command+Backspace and choose “Delete Item(s)” when prompted. 

Alternatively, you can right-click on the To-do you want to delete and select “Delete” from the context menu.

To delete multiple items at once, select them using the Command key, then press Command+Backspace to delete.

In the Web app

To delete your To-dos on the Web app, hold down the Command (Mac) or Shift (Windows) key as you select the tasks you wish to delete, type Command+Backspace and choose “Delete Item(s)” when prompted. 

Alternatively, after selecting all of the to-dos you wish to delete, you can select “More” from the Action bar and then click on “Delete selected Item(s)”

To delete multiple items at once, select them using the Command key (Mac) or the Shift key (Windows) and then hit, Ctrl + Backspace.
