On Android, iOS, Mac, Windows & in the Web appTo-dos can also have subtasks associated with them. To add subtasks, simply tap or double click on a to-do item to open its Detail View and then click in the “Add a subtask” field to begin typing. With the free version, you can add up to 25 subtasks and rearrange them however you’d like. (If you’re a Pro user, you can add as many subtasks as you wish.)
How to delete Subtasks
To delete a subtask on your iOS or Android device, swipe from right-to-left across the subtask you wish to delete, then tap on the red trash can button (iOS) or confirm the deletion when prompted (Android).
To delete a subtask on your Mac app, highlight the subtask(s) you wish to delete, type Command + Backspace, and confirm by choosing “Delete Item(s).”
Alternatively, you can right-click on the subtask you wish to delete, and select “delete” from the context menu.
To delete a subtask on Web & Windows, hover your mouse over the subtask you wish to delete, and click on the 'x' located to the right of the subtask's name.
Please note: each subtask field is currently limited to 255 characters.
