MailButler Integration

MailButler lets you turn your emails in Apple Mail right into to-do's. You can even set up a reminder for your to-do item and add a little note.

How to create a Task

  1. Open Apple Mail.
  2. Mark an email.
  3. Click on the Tasks button to create a to-do or on the dropdown menu to create a to-do with a note & reminder.
  4. Enter a short note and check Due Date to set a reminder.
  5. You will see the note and reminder at the top of the email.
  6. MailButler can save all to-do's in Wunderlist. Each reminder is linked to the email. You only have to click the message link to open the email. Please note: You can only open the message link in Safari if you use a web app. Make sure that you enter the complete link (e.g. message://<cd2da05@mtasv.net> ).
  7. Finally, mark your to-do as done by checking the box next to the note in Apple Mail. MailButler will also mark your task as done in your Todoist, Wunderlist, Reminder or Asana app.

How to link MailButler with Wunderlist

  1. Open Apple Mail.
  2. In the top left, click Mail --> Preferences.
  3. In the MailButler tab, click Services in the left-hand side bar.
  4. Click on the '+' to add Wunderlist 
  5. Activate the service.
  6. Click Organization in the left-hand side bar.
  7. Set a reminder list for each email account. MailButler will use this list for your Tasks.
