Windows 10 App crashes when entering

Whenever I open Wunderlist on Windows 10 and open the account settings pane, the app crashes. I have the most updated version of Wunderlist and the most recent version of windows as well.

I'm having the same issue as well. The app works fine, until you go into the Account Settings panel, it then first freezes and crashes seconds later.

I'm on Windows 10 Enterprise, x64-bits.
I've got the latest Wunderlist version (also did a reinstall).

I am having the same issue. I checked windows event viewer and found an error from "twinapi.appcore.dll" every time wunderlist crashes. If I disconnect the Internet, it will not crash.

I am having the same issue as well, crashing in windows 10 when entering settings.

Also: For some reason wunderlist app when minimized, when I click on it to maximize it out of the taskbar, the window restore animation is VERY slow, looks like it's GUI is a bit messed up lately.

I am also experiencing the same problem. If I open the settings and go to the "account" part of them, the right pane stays open for a few seconds, then the entire app closes. There are no loss of information and the web app is working fine. The android app also is working fine.

For me, it starts to open, flashes on the screen, and then quits. This is after my computer locked up and had to be hard-booted. I've had this problem repeatedly in the past, however I always get it to load eventually. Now it just won't.

I'm able to constantly keep the app open on my Android phone, and I can use it on the browser, but that's super inconvenient (just sayin') because I keep multiple browser windows open and I relied on that icon at the bottom of my screen to find my to-do lists.

I'm trying now to uninstall the app so I can reinstall it, but it's not looking promising. (It doesn't look like it's uninstalling at all, just processing my request to do so.) I don't even know if it'll work. It's like the app's resisting the uninstall or something. Hopefully that changes, but I'm not waiting forever to post this until that happens.

I do confirm that I've started experiencing the same problem as others. For me, it starts to open, flashes on the screen, and then quits. Please could you help to resolve it?

This morning Wunderlist was working properly. After the latest Windows 10 patch which took almost 1h to complete I cannot use Wunderlist anymore. The Windows update history window is saying that there was a successful update to "Windows 10, version 1803".

I uninstalled and installed Wunderlist again. Didn't help.

My current Windows version according to the "System Information" tool is:
OS Name: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
Version: 10.0.17134 Build 17134

I have the same issue : Wunderlist won't launche anymore. It seems to happened foloowing the last windows 10 1803 update.
I tried to uninstall reinstall the app from windows store; reset setting from windows settings\applications\wunderlist : idem.

Also for me, Wunderlist crashes when I open the account settings pane. I'm on Windows 10 Mobile and also notice it doesn't sync the list. W noted above that if disconnected from the Internet, it will not crash. So I tried in flight mode and the accounts pane then opens. So looks like internet connection doesn't work (no sync) and causes the problem (crashes).

The additional event we’ll need is an ""Information Event"" from ""Windows Error Reporting"" which includes the term ""Fault Bucket"" at the start of its description, directly (or closely) above or below the error.

I've also been experiencing the same behavior. Windows 10 Version 1803 OS Build 17134.345. Launching Wunderlist, it briefly displays the splash screen and then exits. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Rebooted. No changes. On another Windows 10 system it still works.
I'm beginning to suspect something in the registry, or a glitched Windows update.

Same problem, but when I restart, it works for a while, then it won't load anymore.
I would jump over to MS To Do, but there still isn't a way to group task lists into categories, a HUGE problem. If everything was lumped into one big list it would be so big (for me) that it would not be manageable. Some tasks are active, but other task lists are for a specific event. Thus the need for categories. I wonder if the reason this isn't fixed is that management has decided to force us over through frustration and allow the bug. If so, please add "categories" like it is in the Wunderlist app. Otherwise, I'll need to go elsewhere. I do like the sharing feature. That was another requirement that needed to come to MS To DO.

Just posting in case this helps someone...

I was having this problem for the past couple of months with it still working on my phone and ending up installing to-do but it just isn't good enough yet.

A couple of windows updates and a wunderlist update and multiple attempts at uninstall and reinstall and still not working.

What finally worked for me was searching for wunderlist in windows folders and deleting the results (3 files and one folder from memory, yours may vary), then rebooting and reinstalling.

I'm having the same problem, it opens, flashes the logo and then crashes and disappears. I've uninstalled and downloaded again. Nothing's working.
Any solutions?

Having the same issue as the people above. I reinstalled and it worked for a day or two but stopped working again today. Wunderlist splash screen shows and then the app doesn't start. I didn't restart my computer or turn it off and no app or Windows updates were installed, the app just stopped working over night.

same here, all the time. its so broken. Has been happening from time to time for almost a year now. Tried downloading it again, but it doesnt always help. You have to fix this

Same here, the app flashes and then just disappears, is there any solution in sight? It slows down my effectivity a lot, and that must be your opposite ambition?

I'm having the same issue as the other users. Windows 10, ASUS VivoBook S14. Uninstalled and reinstalled, but the program still won't launch. Launch screen flashes for a moment and disappears. No problems with the app on my iphone.

Same problem here, the initial screen comes up, then immediately crashes. I have re-installed several times, restarted my computer, etc. but nothing works. My device is a Windows 10 Surface. I left this app a bad review and would encourage others who experience this problem to do so until this problem is fixed.

Same issue. Tries to open then disappears. Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Have used this program for years but will be forced to find something else since it looks like Wunderlist is unable to fix the issue.

Still rolling out? It is April now and you seem to be buying time. I'll get rid of Wunderlist on my phones and go for something else instead. There is no improvement to a situation that was reported first over a Year ago. This is a joke. And please do not thank me for "reaching out" because I don't. I'm simply complaining.

The update is fully released so you should be able to download it now. If you are using a Window phone, I’m afraid it’s no longer supported.

Please let us know if the Windows 10 desktop app still crashes.
