Notifications not working

Since I have been using Wunderlist over the past several years, I have had a reoccurring, occasional issue where task notifications do not appear. Since downloading the Wunderlist app and logging into my account on my new phone last week, not a single notification has worked. When I go into the app and look at the task, the notification date/time is in red, as it has passed. I have tried disabling and reenabling the notifications checkbox in the app, logging out and back into my account, clearing the app cache and data, and deleting and reinstalling the app. At this time, this is a big liability as I am not notified of important reminders, which is the entire point of the app. Please advise if this can be remedied, as I will need to move on to another app if this issue cannot be resolved.

I have checked your account settings and found your push notifications were turned off. Please tap your avatar (profile picture), go to “Notifications” and then turn on “Push”. If it’s already turned on, please turn off and wait for 5 seconds before turning it back on.

Please also make sure you turn off battery saving mode and add Wunderlist to the protected apps.

Thank you for your information.

Please try to force reboot your phone:

1. Press and hold the Power + Volume Down buttons for approximately 10 seconds or until the device power cycles. Allow several seconds for the Maintenance Boot Mode screen to appear.
2. From the Maintenance Boot Mode screen, select Normal Boot. You can use the volume buttons to cycle through the available options and the lower left button (below the volume buttons) to select. Wait for up to 90 seconds for the reset to complete.

If the problem persists, please clear the cache of the phone:

1. Turn off the phone.
2. Press and then hold the Home and Volume UP keys, then press and hold the Power key.
3. When the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge shows on the screen, release the Power key but continue holding the Home and Volume Up keys.
4. When the Android logo shows, you may release both keys and leave the phone be for about 30 to 60 seconds.
5. Using the Volume Down key, navigate through the options and highlight ‘wipe cache partition.’
6. Once highlighted, you may press the Power key to select it.
7. Now highlight the option ‘Yes’ using the Volume Down key and press the Power button to select it.
8. Wait until your phone is finished wiping the cache partition. Once completed, highlight ‘Reboot system now’ and press the Power key.
9. The phone will now reboot longer than usual.
10. Let the phone run and check for the problem.

I can see your Wunderlist settings are now correct.

Please try the following steps:

- Go to Settings → Advanced settings → Battery manager → Protected apps, then find Wunderlist, and protect it. This is “whitelisting” the app so Huawei’s overeager software doesn’t shut it down for no reason.

- Go to Settings → Apps → advanced → Ignore battery optimizations, then find Wunderlist and ignore it. Don’t be tricked by the misleading wording, “ignoring” the app actually means to let it run, because you’re telling the battery optimization function to “ignore” that app.

- Go to Settings → Notification panel & status bar → Notification centre, then find Wunderlist, then activate “allow notifications” and also “priority display”. You have to activate the priority part too to make sure you get notifications.

- Go to Settings → Apps → special access → unlimited data access → choose Wunderlist and allow it

- Restart your phone.

The settings might vary on different Huawei devices, please check Phone Manager or similar apps/settings if it’s different on your phone.

In our push system, I can see your device is not registered. Please log out your account and log back in. Please also go to iOS Settings > Privacy > Advertising > Limit Ad Tracking, and disable it. This might be blocking the push notifications from us.

Hey folks,

tried to get the notifications work fpr 2 weeks on iOS 12.2 but there is no success.
Also logged out and logged back in. Don't know why, but it is not working for me.

Push notification is turned on, for wunderlist and also in the iOS settings...
Last thing I tried, was disabling "Limit Ad tracking", see post above...

Hello it's been two weeks that I don't receive notifications, I have to go to the app to see them (not always). I've checked it was already turned on, it's the only app active for the battery saver. I'm not gonna reboot my phone for only 1 application but I don't understand why now it doesn't work.
My phone is a xiaomi redmi 3S

Your settings are correct in our system, so there might be a problem with your phone’s setting. Could you please check if there is a way to add Wunderlist as a protected app so the battery-saving mode will not block the notifications? I’d also recommend you to restart your phone.
