How to avoid emails when assigning new tasks?

Preben — Nov 23, 2018 11:19AM CET

I am having trouble turning the emails off when assigning new tasks: Every single new tasks invokes an email sent to my inbox which is both unnecessary and time consuming. All tick boxes (that I can find) are ticked off but it doesn't help?
What am I doing wrong? :-)

Hello Preben,

Thank you for contacting Wunderlist Support. I’d be glad to assist you.

By default when a task is assigned to a member of a shared list, an email notification is sent to the list owner. The only way to stop receiving those emails is to turn off email notifications under Account Settings > Notifications > Email Notifications.

Doing so will prevent the email notifications from being sent for all your tasks including your personal ones. However you’ll still receive Push Notifications on the device though.

I hope that answers your query. Please feel free to contact us for further assistance.

I'm having the same issue - very annoying. My iPhone 7 has iOS 12.1.3 and I have notifications set to OFF, but I'm still sending and receiving email!

Looks like a DEFECT to me.
