Calendar

Matthew Koller — Jan 09, 2019 04:02PM CET

If I create a task due today and recurring every week thereafter it only puts a calendar entry in my calendar for today and not the subsequent days of the recurring tasks.

Also, is it not possible to set a due time for a task?
The only reference to time is on the reminder not at the actual due date

Thanks

Hello Matthew,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Unfortunately, on the calendar, it only shows the current task, not the subsequent tasks. And it’s not possible to set a due time, only reminder time. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Please let me know if you have other questions. Have a great day!

Fangyuan

Hi Fangyuan

Thanks for the response.
Thats a real pity - as a recurring calendar entry would be of real value.
I wonder if this could be requested as a product enhancement?

Also seems strange that a task can't have a due time - if there is a deadline for example, one would want to be able to set a time to complete the task by.

Thanks

Hello Matthew,

Thanks for your reply.

Your suggestion is really good and we will definitely consider it as a valid feature request.
However, we are excited to announce that we have just released the new Microsoft “To-Do” app. Since we’re focusing on adding new features there, we’ll consider your request for a future update of Microsoft To-Do.

Please try it out (get it from https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=846683) and let us know what feature you would like to see implemented soon on https://todo.uservoice.com/

Best regards,
Fangyuan

Hi Fangyuan

Thanks, I came across Microsoft To-Do from another thread on this forum, so I did actually download and test it.

However, it seems it has even less functionality than current Wunderlist:

- No calendar integration at all?
- No folders to categorise lists within?
- No assigning of a task to a person who shares the list?

Therefore, I'll stick with Wunderlist for now, and maybe Microsoft To-Do get a full version upgrade to compete with current Wunderlist sometime soon.

Thanks for your help
