Can't log in on iPad

When I try to log in on an iPad via my Microsoft account, I get a message saying the account already exist. I am not trying to create a new account, just trying to log in?

Hello MJ,

Apologies for the troubles! Can you please sign in by typing your email address and password, instead of clicking the Microsoft button? Will that allow you to sign in?
