Server error message

I record an audio note into a task on Wunderlist for Android version 3.4.9 build #1176 on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 by using ‘Add a file’. However, when I try to play it back in the app, I get the error message “there was a problem connecting to the Wunderlist servers. Please try again and check status.wunderlist.com for updates”. I checked server status and there were no operational issues. I opened the app settings – Extras – Get Support – and clicked on ‘Reset server connection’ but the problem persists.

Any ideas how to fix this. Photos added from the gallery or taken on the phone open fine without any error messages.
