Retrieve data and delete

I am trying to download / retrieve my data before I move on from Wunderlist. I tried the exporter but no data was sent as promised by the exporter. I also wish to close and delete my account but I read that I need to log in to wunderlist to achieve this. Unfortunately I cannot log into Wunderlist as all I have is a Microsoft website trying to get me to switch to a Microsoft product? I had no warning that Wunderlist was going to close so I have not done anything until it dissappeared from my computer. What is the best course of action, or have I lost my data?

Thank you for reaching out to us.

For the exporter, it might take some time to download your data, could you please go to https://export.wunderlist.com/ and check if the file is available?

If there is an error message, please send a screenshot to support@wunderlist.com.

You should still be able to log in. By clicking at “continue with Wunderlist”, the page will be dismissed and you can log in your account.

The export page tells me that I have signed in and I am at stage 2, 'Exporting'. I have gone through this four or five times and on my last attempt I left the screen on and it did not proceed further than stage 2.
FYI there is no 'continue with Wunderlist' option on the Wunderlist site. It only presents the marketing for the new Microsoft application. However I discovered by clicking around that I can get to Wunderlist via my sign in icon at top right. I can use Wunderlist until it is closed down by Microsoft so I would like to get a download of my lists data if possible. It is not crucial but it will be easier to transfer the data to my new application rather than typing it all in again.

The export issue has been fixed, please try again and see if it works now.

As for the “continue with Wunderlist” button, I was talking about the desktop app, sorry for the misunderstanding!
