Wunder Lists are not syncing between Web - Desktop - App

I have had a number of instances the past few weeks where I made updates either in the desktop app or mobile app and they don't sync to the web. And then all of a sudden something starts syncing and all my newly added tasks get deleted. I am currently in a situation where my web is showing different tasks from my desktop and the mobile app is showing different tasks again. How can I prevent this from happening? And is there any way to get the "disappeared" tasks back again?
